One of the goals of the Montgomery County Community Foundation is to get the organization more involved in the community by awarding Community Engagement Board Member Grants.

Board member Heather Perkins selects the Montgomery County Animal Welfare League to receive grants and the funds will be used to purchase medications for the animals at the shelter.
