March 31 marks the deadline for Alaskans to file for their 2010 Permanent Fund Dividend. The state Department of Revenue expects that they will receive 50,000 more applications online in the closing week of the filing period.
If filing online, Alaskans are also able to donate portions of their PFD to Alaskan charitable organizations.
As of this week, more than eleven-thousand donations have been pledged statewide.
