Foundation: GE Foundation, Meyer Memorial Trust, Nike, Spirit Mountain Community Fund, Oregon Community Foundation
Oregon Live notes organizations awarded grants by foundations to continue their individual causes under Community Helpers.
Some of the cited philanthropy are: Nike awarded $245,800 to Hillsboro School District to be utilized in teacher training and support while Clackamas Community College received $1.8 million from the IFC family trust (Jerry Inskeep and family) to be used to create an endowment for scholarships.
