The University of St. Thomas is offering a unique experience to its students to learn and work abroad in Mumbai, India.

The goal is to visit the bustling, busy city of Mumbai, but for a greater purpose- the help those in need. The students will be working directly with a social enterprise to help combat the many issues related to poverty including illiteracy, lack of health care and environmental issues.

The students will spend their mornings learning in a premier business school, S.P. Jain however much of the coursework will be in the field. There they will be researching and developing programs to aid the community. After they have completed their research and data collection, the students will report their recommendations for improvement.

The deadline for registration is October 1, 2016 and the program is scheduled for January, 2017.
