Small businesses are a part of every community are essential as they promote a healthy economy and new job opportunities. All small businesses can benefit from a charitable return on investments either internally or externally. Internal charity in a business can take on many forms such as employee health care and rigorous promotion opportunities. Externally a company can benefit itself charitably by performing low-cost or pro-bono services, and also by engaging the next generation and younger audiences, such as Millennials.

When businesses start making choices to structure themselves as being more charitable, they directly benefit themselves as well as the community they are serving, and solid returns on investments are seen. A company that engages its community and gives back can very easily become community business leaders and role models.
