Show Your Thankfulness with Charity 'Turkey Trots' and Walks This Week in the Dc Area

It's that time of year again: time for Turkey Trots.

If you're in the Washington, DC, area and want to get in a bit of a workout on Thanksgiving morning, WTOP has a list of local runs and walks you can sign up for.

If you're in Arlington, Va., or Frederick, Md., you can also bring a few non-perishable food items to donate to the Manna Food Center's Smart Sack program, which provides backpacks of food to more than 2,500 schoolkids each weekend.

Or, if you'd rather not run, WTOP has a 5k race in Alexandria, Va., that's family- and dog-friendly.
