The Righteous Persons Foundation (RPF) has vowed to present $100,000 in direct grants to the Lynn and Jules Kroll Fund for Jewish Documentary Film (LJFK) in support of four Jewish-themed feature documentaries.
The four docs chosen for funding will each receive a $25,000 grant to help with expenses associated with post-production. The four documentaries include: Bialik: King of the Jews by Yair Qedar; Mr. Gaga by Tomer Heymann; Soft Vengeance: Albie Sachs and the New South Africa by Abby Ginzberg; and The Zionist Idea by Joe Dorman and Oren Rudavsky.

Three social enterprises were recognized at the 2013 President’s Challenge Social Enterprise Award for their major contributions to society. SATA CommHealth and Bliss Restaurant landed Social Enterprise of the Year titles, while Bettr Barista Coffee Academy bagged the award for Social Enterprise Start-up of the Year.
