Muskogee Foundation Pledges More Than $10 Million to City

The City of Muskogee officials learned they can get funding from the City of Muskogee Foundation to deliver grants capital improvements and temporary sales tax extensions.

The foundation is funded with proceeds from the 40-year lease of the city's hospital known as EASTAR Health System to Capella Healthcare. A slice of the funds is used to allocate grants intended to boost the quality of life in Muskogee.
