University of Alabama Professors Receives CAREER Awards

University of Alabama professors Dr. Yuping Bao, Dr. Samantha Hansen and Dr. Dawen Li have been selected to receive National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Awards amounting to more than $1.6 million in grants for a wide range of research projects.

The CAREER program offers the organization's most prestigious awards in support of junior faculty who exemplify the role of teacher-scholars through outstanding research, excellent education and the integration of education and research within the context of the mission of their organizations.
