Virginia State Golf Association-VIP Scholarship Foundation announced its 2012 scholarship award where thirty-one high school seniors and two graduate school students were among the 33 scholars honored.
The Foundation provides scholarships to students who are interested in golf and who attend colleges and universities within the commonwealth. This years grants totaled $85,500, with $46,000 going to 13 four-year award recipients, $34,500 going to 18 merit award winners and $5,000 going to two students pursuing degrees in turfgrass management at Virginia Tech.
