Get Healthy West Georgia by Tanner Health System and Community Foundation of West Georgia

Tanner Health System is partnering with the Community Foundation of West Georgia to launch a massive initiative, "Get Healthy West Georgia" with a goal to help residents adopt more physically active lifestyles and make healthier nutrition choices in Carroll, Haralson and Heard counties.

According to Loy Howard, president and CEO of Tanner Health System, obesity and unhealthy lifestyles contributes to high rates of heart disease and diabetes and with the program, it encourages change in the way people choose to live their lives--healthier meals, more exercise and a focus on wellness.
