Fairfield County Community Foundation Supports Civic Engagement

The Fairfield County Community Foundation has recently awarded a $30,000 grant to the Bridgeport Child Advocacy Coalition (BCAC) in order to financially enable them to teach parents regarding "Civic Engagement 101."

The goal of the program is to educate the community about teacher evaluations and accountability, as well as to equip parents with the skills and strategies that are necessary in becoming successful advocates.
