How Did Stanford Do it?

Stanford reached the $6 billion mark for its campaign with a goal of $4.3-billion despite the recession. The funds raised will be used for different school programs. Both programs on sustainable energy and an institute devoted to developing alternative energy sources received $50 million funds.

Bruce Flessner, a Minneapolis fundraising consultant says Stanford has achieved this much due to its location in Silicon Valley.
