credit: The Guardian

Charity is usually misunderstood. John Mohan and Beth Breeze have come to clarify these misconceptions.

They have done a lot of research on this subject. However their first step is to explain the ‘Logic of Charity’. This is so as to help everyone understand the role that charities play.

They also explain where the donations to charities come from. They also look at the geographical distribution of charities in the UK. They try hard to make us appreciate that charitable giving is not merely a business transaction but can benefit or enrich the donor too.

This book defends the charity industry and makes it more transparent. It contains a lot of examples and case studies to back the proof that charities are very important.
