Former Idea Students in Baton Rouge Struggle to Transfer

IDEA Bridge and IDEA Innovation, which opened in 2018, had more than 1,900 students enrolled in grades kindergarten to 12 at the time they called it quits.

Colorado-based Third Futures Schools officially took over the operation of IDEA Bridge, renamed Bridge Academy, but it is holding classes only in grades K-8.

The 1,200-plus students in the grades the charter schools are still providing, however, have been caught in the lurch.
