The Jefferson Parish school system will have the chance to receive an intensive analysis of its educational strategies from the Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation.
According to the foundation, 18 districts applied for the review, and it selected two of them, including Jefferson. The foundation will pay $34,000 toward the cost of conducting the audit and review, and the school system will also contribute about that amount.
