Community Foundation and Partners Give Out Nearly $1.3 Million

The Community Foundation, in collaboration with funding partners The Pauley Family Foundation and Richmond Eye & Ear Foundation Fund, has recently awarded nearly $1.3 million in grants to 33 local organizations focusing on the health of central Virginia.

Grant recipients include: Partnership for Nonprofit Excellence had $200,000 to foster operating excellence among local nonprofit organizations; Virginia Supportive Housing with $100,000 to support the 1,000 Homes for 1,000 Virginians campaign in Richmond; CenterStage Foundation received $50,000 to expand the BrightLights Education Initiative partnerships in the region's schools and many others.
