Berks County Community Foundation Supports Local Sheriff Department

The Berks County Community Foundation has recently announced that it will be giving away a grant that would provide financial support to government entities in Berks County in order to help them acquire, train and maintain their K9 corps.

The grant, for $10,500, will be used to purchase a new dog for the Berks sheriff's department and pay to train the dog and its handler.
