Impact Investing is 'Thriving': Survey

In 2015 many investors invested over 15 billion dollars into impact investments. It is lead to believe that more money will be invested this year due to investors receiving back exactly what they planned or more. Surveys show that 79% of investors plan to maintain their investments or increase them.

Majority of investors in 2015 were asset managers investing for family offices and foundations. investors expected returns equal to the market rate and some even planned to see returns under the market rate. Most of the investments were private.

Investments were made all over the world and more than a third were made here in North America. Some now believe a thriving market is being build all over the world with investors belonging to many class sectors.
