Youth Poetry Slams Receive Millions In Funding

A group of funders are committing $10 million in funds over the next seven years to support nonprofits that work with youth in writing and performance arts.

The funds will be absorbed through Youth Speaks and its Brave New Voices Network Initiative (BNV). These will go to 25 local nonprofits that support poetry events, festivals and slams.
