Gene Tempel Nominated as Dean of the New School of Philanthropy

Gene Tempel was appointed to be the founding dean of Indiana University's new School of Philanthropy and it is subject to the approval of the University Board of Trustees.

Indiana University President Michael A. McRobbie said that Tempel's internationally recognized expertise in the field of philanthropic studies and his extensive leadership experience make him the perfect choice as the founding dean of the School of Philanthropy.
