The Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque has presented nearly $180,000 in grant awards to local nonprofits for projects to improve energy consumption.
The grants were allocated under the foundation's Grants to Green program. The energy improvement projects "build sustainability by helping these organizations become more efficient through construction/renovation and improving facility operations to be as ‘green’ as possible."
