According to a recent research, women significantly comprise less than half of alumni leadership positions and high-level donors—statistics.
To boost female leadership and addressgender gap in alumni donations, the Women in Philanthropy and Leadership Initiative run by the University Development Office members, hopes to shift the culture at how they do their fundraising work. Cam Kelly, senior assistant vice president for principal gifts, said, "This is a community issue, not a women's issue."
