Foundation luncheon nets over $400,000

More than 750 supporters of the Fairfield County Community Foundations Fund for Women and Girls attended its annual luncheon, which raised $408,000 to benefit girls and women in Fairfield County. Established in 1998, the Fund for Women and Girls awards grants to nonprofits throughout Fairfield County that help girls and women overcome obstacles and fulfill their potential.
