Patagonia Accelerates Environmental Activism Platform

Patagonia, an outdoor company, is matching donations to grassroots environmental organizations through its Action Works platform to fight climate change.

The donations will match up to $10,000 per individual and per transaction, and up to $10 million overall.

Through the Action Works digital platform, users can volunteer skills and time, sign petitions, discover local events, and donate money to nearby causes.

Patagonia already donates one percent of its sales to small scale environmental groups in the US, alongside revenue it makes from Black Friday sales.
