GM Foundation Provides Grants to 3 Charities in Detroit

The General Motors Foundation allocated grants to three Detroit charities in honor of the automaker's former chief executive and chairman Dan Akerson and his wife, Karin.

GM Foundation President Vivian Pickard awarded the grants to the three charities: Capuchin Soup Kitchen, Coalition on Temporary Shelter and Habitat for Humanity Detroit.
