The Lafayette Community Foundation provided $2,500 grants to enable local women's chorus WomenSing to expand artistic performances in Lafayette.
WomenSing is an award-winning chorus composed of nearly 50 women from the Lamorinda and East Bay areas. Its trademark is the Youth Inspiring Youth - Commissioning Emerging Composers project. The grant makes it possible for the chorus group to have a weekend of free public performances from April 11 to 12.
