Matias Wibowo, Investment Manager at ClearlySo and clean-tech and energy expert, shares some of his insights working with angel investors from motivations to investment strategy and what he indicates as the big opportunity areas.

He also observes the behaviour of angel investors he's worked with: They focus primarily on business models that are commercially viable and expect that such implementation represents a positive correlation between their businesses and their social/environmental impact.

Wibowo recommends that being sector agnostic is an effective investment strategy. He looks at SaaS models for connected energy, ag-tech, and technologies of data capture as the big opportunity areas for angel investing for good.
