Brazilian fashion supermodel Gisele Bündchen was recently appointed to the Rainforest Alliance Board of Directors.

The Rainforest Alliance, an organization that works to conserve biodiversity and ensure sustainable livelihoods, issued a statement that welcomes Bündchen to the team. In her role, Bündchen will help in planning and shaping the Rainforest Alliance's environmental and global mission by implementing policies to advance the organization's eco-efforts.
