Ensuring Your CSR Programs Have Impact

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is part of an organization's efforts to create impact on the environment and society.

CSR is not limited to big corporations and organizations, but micro, small and medium-sized enterprises can also put them in place along with their core mission and values.

JR Demecais, a social entrepreneur, a researcher and project manager of various CSR programs, lists down three tips on what should be the considerations in starting a CSR program in any organization, whether big or small.

The three tips include: 1) business-aligned social purpose; 2) measurable indicators; and 3) contributing towards sustainable development goals.

There are also initial steps to take in launching a company's CSR program. These include knowing a company's strengths, mapping out the stakeholders, building support, and finding collaborators.
