The Community Foundation of Greater Muscatine and Monsanto recently received a check for $7,000 to cover most of the latest $10,000 Youth Engaged in Service (YES) grant program.
The remaining $3,000 is dispensed by the foundation’s Business Circle. The YES program goes further in recognizing the charitable efforts done by Muscatine County youth by guiding them through the process of developing their ideas, bidding for grant funding, and winning money to pay for the work they want to do in service to others.
