Nearly $350,000 has been awarded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) to Participant Media and Active Voice in support of its social action program.
The program targets issues of food insecurity and obesity, highlighting Participant Media's "A Place at the Table" documentary film. The program will host screenings and panel discussions of the documentary in 25 communities, and it will engage local groups to help spread the opportunity for affordable healthy food acquisitions.
