Telluride R-1 Nonprofit Marks One-Year Anniversary with $5,000 Grant

A nonprofit organization that holds fundraising events for the Telluride R-1 School District called We R-1 marks its one-year anniversary thanks to a financial contribution from the Ride the Rockies foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Denver Post bicycle tour creation.

We R-1 Board President Cecily Hughes accepted the grant worth $5,000. The grant aims to further its goals of providing practical learning and bolstering volunteerism through sponsored charity events.
