The Christina-Taylor Green Memorial Foundation have awarded grants amounting to over $190,000 to 16 Southern Arizona organizations and schools.
According to Tina Mead-Ramirez, vice president of the foundation, the money behind the grants was raised through community donations and fundraisers and are for the enhancement of children's opportunities in sports, education and leadership.
