The Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin is celebrating its 25th anniversary and will be having an online "American Idol"-like contest that will give one nonprofit agency a $25,000 endowment fund.
The Foundation asked local nonprofits to apply for $2,500 grants for specific projects that are meant to create vibrant and livable community according to Jean Tehan, the agency's executive director.
