The California-based Helen Diller Family Foundation announced it will expand its Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Awards from a statewide to nationwide program and will double the number of annual awards to 10, with five of the awards reserved exclusively for Californians.
The Awards recognize teens who perform outstanding volunteer service. Helen Diller, the foundation's president, said she chose to expand the awards because of the potential to broaden participation in Tikkun Olam projects.
