Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation has awarded $15,000 in grants to support Washtenaw County teachers and students for visits to the "RACE: Are we so different?" exhibition at the University of Michigan Museum of Natural History.
It will be the first national exhibition to tell the story of race from the biological, cultural and historical points of view. Topics explored would include genetics, medicine, housing, the census and discrimination in education.
