Schaefer Foundation Donates $1.4 Million

A $1.4 million grant from the private foundation established through the will of former Governor William Donald Schaefer is being donated to a fund providing grants to neighborhood groups for improvement projects according to the Baltimore Community Foundation.

The addition of $1.4 million to the fund would mean $63,000 more each year in grants to neighborhoods in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
