The Aultman Foundation awarded six area nonprofit organizations which will receive grants worth a combined $29,400. Grant recipients focus on health, education and human services for the underserved, especially the poor, elderly and children.
Among the recipients are: Tuscarawas County Council for Church and Community with $6,000 for Healthy Choices for Youth Program; American Red Cross, Muskingum Lakes Chapter (Carroll and Tuscarawas counties) with $5,000 for a smoke detector education project and others.
