Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Gives Out $8.5 Million To Help African Dairy Farmers

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has recently awarded Heifer International with an $8.5 million grant to support project work on the East Africa Dairy Development project.

The EADD project help smallholder dairy farmers in Africa to increase their individual and household incomes by creating and expanding critical diary market infrastructure as well as creating sustainable structures for increasing dairy productivity and efficiency and now it is one of the leading market-oriented agro-livestock development initiatives in East Africa.
