Forbes Asia Heroes of Philanthropy List Includes 5 Malaysians

Five Malaysians have been included in the Forbes recent list of the 48 most interesting and generous philanthropists in Asia. Among the Malaysians who made it to the Forbes Asia Heroes of Philanthropy list are Tan Sri Quek Leng Chan, Mohd Kassim Sulong, Miliee Kassim, Tan Sri Dr Mohan Swami and Tan Sri Vincent Tan.

Tan Sri Quek Leng Chan chairs the Hong Leong Foundation and the head of the conglomerate Hong Leong group. Mohd Kassim Sulong and Miliee Kassim oversee the Kassim Chin Humanity Foundation. Tan Sri Dr Mohan Swami started the Swami-Rathinambal Foundation. Tan Sri Vincent Tan is the chairman of Berjaya Group.
