Precious Osagie-Erese won the inaugural High School Public Speaking Contest of East Orange High School held at Bella Italia Restaurant in Orange last November 6, 2010. She was able to beat 12 other contenders and was crowned to be the first winner of the scholarship contest.
October of last year, she retained her title in the 2nd scholarship contest where she beat 14 other competitors. The East Orange Campus High School is now planning to further her education in Howard University where she will study journalism and communications.
