Pride Foundation: A blessing to Idaho

Several volunteers have contributed to the success of the Pride Foundation’s LGBTQ outreach work. With the aid of a Pride Foundation grant, several youth are sent to an LGBTQ leadership conference as well as more than $36,000 in scholarships are awarded to Idaho students.
Doug Flanders and Carmine Caruso, longtime Idaho LGBTQ community activists, opened up their home for a Pride Foundation fundraiser that included moving testimonials from representatives of recent grantees Idaho Safe Schools Coalition and Allies Linked for the Prevention of HIV and AIDS (ALPHA). On the other hand, Stephanie Bell together with her husband Bart organized a fundraising rock concert in Boise.
