In the month of May, the Garden Club of Inverness as well as the Women’s Club of Inverness showed their philanthropic efforts by presenting scholarships to all the endowed recipients and diligent club members.
Marilyn Dutcher, scholarship chairman of the Garden Club of Inverness, presented scholarships in the amount of $2,500 to Christian Mark LaBarr and Erik Bethke. On the other hand, education chairman for the Women’s Club of Inverness Karen Spring awarded $1,000 scholarships to 15 beneficiaries of different schools. Recipients include Nicollette Bartolameolli, Marissa Mallon, Kelly Doherty, Christian Greenbaum, Priya Mehta, Jenna Lee, Sana Quadri, Margaret Schroeder, Teneisha Hall, Betti Varga, Catherine Clark, Catherine Reff, Dana Lindquist, Nevena Neskoska and Flavio Kola.
