$45,000 from Dollar General Literacy Foundation

The Dollar General Literacy Foundation awarded more than $45,000 in grants to schools and nonprofit organizations in Scottsville and Bowling Green to support local literacy initiatives at Western Kentucky University and Community Action of Southern Kentucky.

The Dollar General distribution center supports literacy and is involved in supporting charities throughout the community.
