The Lincoln Community Foundation has raised $1,330,527 in its first Give To Lincoln Day, an online drive to benefit local nonprofits. Hearts United for Animals raised the most money and had the most donors.
Give to Lincoln Day is designed to serve growing needs and promote philanthropy in Lincoln and Lancaster County. By concentrating donations to a single day and offering matching funds, the event aimed to harness the power of collective giving.
