Indigenous Women Leaders Convene at the Ford Foundation

Enlace Continental de Mujeres Indigenas de las Americas, having assembled in New York to take part in the United Nations Indigenous Peoples Forum, gathered at the Ford Foundation's headquarters for an informal dialogue and exchange of ideas.

President Luis Ubiñas of the foundation, welcomed the delegation and said that they are constantly working to ensure that the human rights movement is focused on the poor and marginalized communities and is geared toward achieving a real-world impact.
