The Community Foundation of Henderson, which was fomred last year out of a small group of young leaders in the Henderson Leadership Initiative, will award its first-ever round of grants to local nonprofits.
Five $1,000 grants will be given out and the recipients of those grants are: the Brain Injury Adventure Camp, the Henderson Area Arts Alliance, Habitat for Humanity, Henderson Breakfast Lions Club and Methodist Hospital.
