The Park Foundation board of trustees approved the grants in the amount of $5,895,823 for higher education, media, environment and animal welfare programs, with more than half of that amount dedicated to the Ithaca College scholarships and Tompkins County programs.
In Tompkins County, the grants ranged from $3,000 up to $90,000 in support of Sustainable Tompkins Neighborhood Minigrant Program, Finger Lakes Energy Challenge, Finger Lakes Climate Fund, and general support.
