Brain Aneurysm Foundation Grant Recipient Receives National Science Foundation CAREER Award

David Frakes, a recipient of a research grant from The Brain Aneurysm Foundation, has earned a National Science Foundation CAREER Award in recognition of his research on major diseases such as heart disease, stroke and aneurysms.

The award will provide Frakes approximately $430,000 over five years to continue his research. The Brain Aneurysm Foundation is dedicated to providing critical awareness, education, support and research funding to reduce the incidence of brain aneurysm ruptures.
